We understand that circumstances may arise that require cancellation or rescheduling of appointments. This Refund Policy outlines our guidelines regarding refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling for our various services.
Please read this policy carefully before booking any services with us. By making a booking, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
Standard Cancellation Policy
Our standard cancellation policy applies to all styling services unless otherwise specified:
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time: Eligible for a full refund or rescheduling without penalty.
- Cancellations made between 24-48 hours before the scheduled appointment time: Eligible for rescheduling or a credit towards future services (valid for 6 months), but not a refund.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time, or no-shows: Not eligible for a refund or rescheduling.
We understand that emergencies can occur. In case of genuine emergencies, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will try to accommodate your situation at our discretion.
Service-Specific Refund Policies
Personal Styling Consultation
In addition to our standard cancellation policy:
- The required deposit (30% of the service fee) is non-refundable but may be transferred to a rescheduled appointment if cancellation is made more than 48 hours in advance.
- If you are unsatisfied with your initial consultation, please inform us within 7 days, and we will offer a follow-up session at no additional cost to address your concerns.
Wardrobe Audit & Organization
Due to the extensive preparation involved:
- The required deposit (50% of the service fee) is non-refundable but may be transferred to a rescheduled appointment if cancellation is made more than 72 hours in advance.
- Rescheduling must occur within 30 days of the original appointment date.
Personal Shopping Experience
- The booking fee is fully refundable if cancellation is made more than 48 hours in advance.
- For cancellations less than 48 hours in advance, the booking fee may be converted to a shopping credit valid for 3 months.
Special Event Styling
Due to the specialized nature of event styling:
- The 50% deposit required at booking is non-refundable less than 7 days before the event date.
- Full payment is due 72 hours before the event and is non-refundable after this point.
- Rescheduling is subject to stylist availability and must be requested at least 7 days before the event date.
Virtual Styling Packages
- Full payment is required at the time of booking.
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund.
- Sessions can be rescheduled once without penalty if requested at least 24 hours in advance.
Package Bookings
For clients who book service packages:
- Package fees are non-refundable once the first service has been provided.
- If you need to cancel the entire package before any services have been provided, a refund minus a 15% administration fee may be issued.
- Individual appointments within a package can be rescheduled according to our standard cancellation policy.
- Package services must be used within 6 months of purchase unless otherwise specified.
Gift Cards and Certificates
- Gift cards and certificates are non-refundable once purchased.
- Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified.
- Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or used to purchase other gift cards.
- Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced unless proof of purchase is provided.
Deposits
For services requiring deposits:
- Deposits secure your appointment in our schedule.
- The refundability of deposits varies by service as outlined in the service-specific policies above.
- Deposits are typically applied toward the total cost of the service.
Dissatisfaction with Services
Client satisfaction is our priority. If you are not satisfied with the services provided:
- Please inform us within 7 days of the service.
- We will work with you to address your concerns, which may include offering a follow-up session or partial credit toward future services.
- Full refunds for completed services are considered on a case-by-case basis and are at the discretion of Green Origin management.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to clients who repeatedly request refunds or display unreasonable expectations.
Cancellation by Green Origin
In the rare event that Green Origin needs to cancel or reschedule your appointment:
- We will notify you as soon as possible.
- You will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund, including any non-refundable deposits.
- If the cancellation is due to circumstances beyond our control (such as illness, severe weather, or other force majeure events), we will work with you to reschedule at the earliest convenient time.
Refund Processing
When refunds are approved:
- Refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.
- Processing time for refunds is typically 5-10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
- For credit card payments, refunds may take up to one billing cycle to appear on your statement.
Late Arrivals
We understand that delays can happen. Our policy regarding late arrivals is as follows:
- If you are running late, please notify us as soon as possible.
- For arrivals up to 15 minutes late, we will make every effort to provide the full service, but the session may need to be shortened to accommodate the remaining scheduled time.
- For arrivals more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment, and our standard cancellation policy will apply.
- No refunds or discounts are provided for shortened sessions due to late arrival.
Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services following any changes indicates your acceptance of the new policy.
